IPPB Invites Applications from Gramin Dak Sevaks for 348 Executive Posts — Apply Online by October 29, 2025
New Delhi: India Post Payments Bank (IPPB), a Government of India undertaking under the Department of Posts, has announced the engagement of 348 Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) from the Department of Posts to serve as Executives in various banking outlets of IPPB across the country.

Interested and eligible Gramin Dak Sevaks can apply online from October 9 to October 29, 2025, by visiting the official website www.ippbonline.com
No other mode of application will be accepted. Applicants are advised not to wait until the last date to avoid technical delays during submission.

Job Role
IPPB Executive role involves direct sales, lead generation, customer acquisition, financial literacy campaigns, and coordination with Department of Posts officials.
Selected candidates against the post will assist in expanding IPPB’s customer base and driving business through the Business Correspondent model that connects India Post and IPPB operations.
Eligibility
Candidates must be between 20 and 35 years of age as of August 1, 2025, and possess a graduate degree (regular or distance learning) from a recognized university or institution. There is no minimum experience requirement for applicants, but candidates must have a clear vigilance record and no pending disciplinary action in the department.
Salary
The selected GDSs will receive a lump-sum remuneration of ₹30,000 per month, inclusive of all statutory deductions. Annual increments and performance-based incentives will be provided as per bank norms.
The engagement will initially be for one year, extendable up to two additional years based on performance and business needs.
However, the role will remain temporary, and selected candidates will not be eligible for regular absorption in IPPB.
Selection Process
The selection process will be based on a merit list drawn from the candidates’ graduation marks. If two candidates have the same percentage, seniority in the postal service will be considered, followed by the date of birth. The bank also reserves the right to conduct an online test if necessary.

A non-refundable application fee of ₹750 is applicable for all candidates. Applicants must ensure accuracy in their submitted details and supporting documents, as discrepancies or false information may lead to disqualification or dismissal, even after selection.

The 348 vacancies are distributed across all major states and union territories, including Uttar Pradesh (40 posts), Maharashtra (31), Madhya Pradesh (29), Gujarat (30 including Dadra & Nagar Haveli), Bihar (17), Tamil Nadu (17), and West Bengal (13 including Sikkim) among others.
