Asansol News: Aadhaar Camp and Letter Writing Competition Held at Tarakeswar International School Under Asansol Postal Division

Asansol: As part of the ongoing National Postal Week 2025 celebrations, an Aadhaar enrolment camp and a letter writing competition were organized today at Tarakeswar International School, Asansol, under the Asansol Postal Division.

The initiative was led by Shri Samrat Sengupta, Inspector of Posts, Asansol 2nd Sub Division, in coordination with the Asansol Head Post Office.

The Aadhaar camp began at 9:00 a.m., providing on-site Aadhaar enrolment and update facilities for local children. Officials stated that the camp is expected to process over 30 Aadhaar transactions by the end of the day.

In addition to the camp, a letter-writing competition was conducted to encourage students to experience the joy of traditional communication and promote philately-related awareness. Around 55 students from Tarakeswar International School, Asansol actively participated in the event, expressing their thoughts and creativity through letters.

Department of Posts, Asansol Division has announced the celebration of National Postal Week 2025 from October 6 to October 10, as per the directive issued by the Sr. Superintendent of Post Offices, Asansol Division.
