Big News for HDFC Bank Customers! HDFC Bank Revises IMPS, NEFT, RTGS Charges to Promote Online Banking, new charges effective from August 1

    Nig News for HDFC Bank Customers! HDFC Bank Revises IMPS, NEFT, RTGS Charges to Promote Online Banking, new charges effective from August 1

    HDFC Bank has announced a revision in its transaction charges effective from August 1, 2025. The new charges are applicable to IMPS, NEFT, RTGS transactions to encourage more customers to use digital banking services. HDFC Bank says, “We are committed to making your banking more convenient and affordable.“

    HDFC Bank New IMPS, NEFT, RTGS Charges from August 1

    As per the new revised charges, all NEFT and RTGS transactions done through NetBanking and MobileBanking will continue to be completely free for all customers. This allows users to send money anytime from anywhere without paying any transaction fees.

    For IMPS transactions, HDFC Bank has reduced the charges for small amount payments for all savings account holders. Transfers up to ₹1,000 will now be charged only ₹2.50 per transaction.

    However, customers doing transactions at bank branches to make NEFT and RTGS payments new revised fees will apply:

    For RTGS (Branch Transactions):

    • ₹2 lakhs to ₹5 lakhs: ₹20 per transaction
    • Above ₹5 lakhs: ₹45 per transaction
      (GST applicable separately)

    For NEFT (Branch Transactions):

    • Up to ₹10,000: ₹2
    • ₹10,001 to ₹1 lakh: ₹4
    • ₹1 lakh to ₹2 lakhs: ₹14
    • Above ₹2 lakhs: ₹24
      (GST applicable separately)

    IMPS (Online Transactions):

    • Up to ₹1,000: ₹2.50
    • ₹1,001 to ₹1 lakh: ₹5
    • Above ₹1 lakh: ₹15
      (GST applicable separately)

    HDFC Bank is encouraging its customers to use its digital banking platforms, i.e HDFC Bank Mobile App and HDFC Netbanking for quick, safe, secure and easy fund transfers.

    Bank is sending email and SMS alerts to notify customers about the new revised charges for online transactions. For to know more information on new charges, customers can visit the official HDFC Bank website at www.hdfcbank.com.
