New Delhi: Department of Posts has introduced advanced features under the Dak Karmayogi Portal, to enhance digital learning, employee management, and training coordination across all postal circles and training institutes.
he updated framework on the Dak Karmayogi portal provides specific roles for trainees, faculty, training institutes (RAKNPA/PTC/RTC), WTC/DTC trainers, and administrative levels including Divisions, Regions, and Circles.
Dak Karmayogi portal Key features include a Digital Library providing access to departmental and Central Government orders, a Helpdesk for technical support, and a Service Desk Web App for trainees staying on training campuses to raise facility-related issues.
Library Management System provides digital book access and management, while the External Training feature allows staff to apply for national and international training programs.
Administrative units can now manage user accounts, monitor attendance digitally using QR codes, approve leave and gate pass requests, and handle hostel management through the platform. A new Dak-Tube feature offers instant access to training videos, while customized dashboards provide performance metrics and training statistics at every organizational level.
Training Backlog and Seat Allocation modules help ensure timely scheduling and participation in both induction and in-service programs. The Training Calendar allows all users to view planned sessions and track ongoing programs across RAKNPA, PTCs, and RTCs.
Overall, the upgraded Dak Karmayogi Portal promotes efficiency, transparency, and paperless operations, empowering postal employees to access training, manage profiles, and monitor progress in real-time.
