iGOT Karmayogi Bharat is an initiative platform by the Government of India in empowering the civil service to thrive in dynamic environments, addressing the evolving needs of governance and enhancing government-citizen interaction. Department of Posts (DoP) has issued a directive to all Heads of Circles after noticing misuse of the Karmayogi Bharat platform.

A circular issued by the Ministry of Communications, Department of Posts (Training Division) dated June 16, 2025, vide no: F. No. 01-67/2013-Trg(Pt), highlights that many users have been found completing courses in unrealistically short durations, often skipping content entirely.

Such behaviour not only compromises the credibility of the system but also deprives users of the valuable learning and knowledge opportunities that the portal is designed to provide. For example, analysis of a few learners revealed completion of multiple courses — some exceeding 20 minutes in duration — in under 20 seconds. These anomalies clearly indicate misuse that needs to be addressed urgently.

In this regard, it is requested that all Head of the Circles issue necessary instructions within their Circle to all concerned, strictly prohibiting such activities. Emphasis should be placed on the importance of genuine engagement with course content to fully benefit from the learning resources available on the platform.

Additionally, it is further requested that HOCs should encourage users to actively participate and complete courses in a manner consistent with the intended duration and purpose of the content. This is crucial to ensuring genuine learning and capacity-building across the workforce.
