EPFO News: EPFO Employees to Receive 60 Days Productivity Linked Bonus for FY 2024–25

New Delhi: Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has announced the grant of a Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB) equivalent to 60 days’ wages for the financial year 2024–25.

The decision was approved by the Union Government and was conveyed through an official order dated October 8, 2025, from the EPFO Head Office in New Delhi.

According to the EPFO circular (No. WSU/Payment & Declaration of PLB/E-886849/2025-26/39), the PLB will be paid to all eligible Group ‘C’ and Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) employees of EPFO. The Productivity Linked bonus amount is subject to a maximum of ₹13,816 per employee.

The office order specifies that the assessment of the 60 days’ Productivity Linked Bonus (PLB )has been made based on data submitted by EPFO’s Zonal Offices (ZOs) and continues under the existing Productivity Linked Bonus scheme.

The terms and conditions for bonus payment will follow the Ministry of Finance guidelines issued under O.M. No. 7/24/2007/E.III(A) dated October 10, 2024, and September 29, 2025.

The calculation of the bonus will be based on the following formula:
Average Emoluments × Number of Days of Bonus ÷ 30.4
(where 30.4 represents the average number of days in a month).

The expenditure for the payment will be debited under the Budget Head “Productivity Linked Bonus”, after adjusting against the advance payments already made in September 2025.

The order was signed by Raman Dhanasekar, RPFC-I (WSU), confirms that the announcement has received the approval of the Central Provident Fund Commissioner (CPFC).
