EPFO News: EPFO Orders Employers to Display Form 5A Details at Workplace Entrances or on Websites Within 15 Days
New Delhi: Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has ordered all establishments covered under the Employees’ Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 to prominently display the extract of Form 5A either at the entrance of their establishment or on their official website and mobile application.
The order is issued on October 7, 2025, by Central Provident Fund Commissioner (CPFC) Ramesh Krishnamurthi, follows directions from the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, under Para 78(1) of the EPF Scheme, 1952.

Employers have been instructed to ensure compliance within 15 days from the issuance of the order.
The displayed extract of Form 5A—which contains essential establishment details—must include:
- EPF Code
- Registered Name of the Establishment
- Date of Coverage under EPF
- Number of Branches and Primary Branch Address
- Concerned EPFO Regional Office
The circular is issued to improve transparency and facilitate easier verification of establishment details by employees and enforcement authorities.
Employers who fail to comply within the stipulated period may face legal action under the EPF & MP Act, 1952, and the schemes framed thereunder.
The order was communicated through Addl. Central P.F. Commissioner (Compliance) P.B. Verma, directing all Assistant Central Provident Fund Commissioners (ACCs) and zonal offices to ensure employers within their jurisdiction are informed immediately.
