Good News for Post Office Savings Account Holders! Personalized Cheque Books Coming Soon

India Post is preparing to roll out a new facility for its savings account customers — personalized cheque books with the account holder’s name and account number pre-printed on them.

This upcoming feature will bring Post Office Savings Bank (POSB) services closer to the convenience offered by major commercial banks.

Until now, most Post Office cheque books have been issued in a generic format without personalization.

With this update, customers will soon be able to enjoy a more secure and professional banking experience with the Department of Posts. The initiative aims to enhance customer satisfaction and modernize postal banking services in line with the government’s ongoing digital and service quality upgrades across India Post.

Though the exact launch date has not been officially announced, internal sources suggest the facility will be introduced very soon across all major post offices.
