Good News! IPPB Launches Premium Aarogya Savings Account with Free Doctor Consultations and Wellness Benefits

    Good News! IPPB Launches Premium Aarogya Savings Account with Free Doctor Consultations and Wellness Benefits

    India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has launched a new savings account type, Premium Aarogya Savings Account, for its customers. The new savings account type offers health benefits along with premium banking services. This unique account variant is designed to give customers access to both banking and health benefits in one app.

    With this new IPPB Premium Aarogya Savings Account, users can enjoy zero balance premium savings along with unlimited tele and video consultations with general physicians. Plus, customers will get offers like up to 40% discount on diagnostic services and up to 15% discount on medicines.

    Benefits of IPPB Premium Aarogya Savings Account

    • Free doorstep banking service
    • Free Unlimited cash deposit and withdrawal
    • Cashback on electricity bill payment, first debit card use, and Jeevan Pramaan Certificate issuance
    • Link IPPB account with Post Office Savings Account (POSA)
    • Annual interest up to 2.25%, paid quarterly

    Charges

    • Account opening or upgrade fee: ₹149 + GST (onetime)
    • Annual subscription fee: ₹99 + GST (in every year)

    Any Indian citizen aged between 18 to 70 years can open this account. At present, the healthcare benefits are provided by Niva Bupa Health Insurance Co., which comes with no waiting period for pre-existing diseases.

    How to Open Premium Aarogya Savings Account?

    New customers can visit their nearby Post Office to open a Premium Aarogya Savings Account. Please ask the Postmaster about the new account type.

    Existing customers can also place a request to upgrade their account variant to Premium Aarogya Savings Account by contacting the local post office or Postmaster.
