Lok Sabha News: Government Addresses One Rank One Pension (OROP) Scheme Grievances & Anomalies in Lok Sabha, check details
New Delhi: Vide the LOK SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO. 2143, Ministry of Defence has confirmed that steps are being taken to address anomalies and grievances arising from the implementation of the One Rank One Pension (OROP) scheme.
According to Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth, the government issues clarification on the scheme time to time in consultation with the concerned authorities.

The government has taken multiple measures to address complaints, including 202 departmental SPARSH Service Centres, 16 bank branches, and 4.63 lakh Common Service Centres across the country. These centres work in coordination with the SPARSH system and Pension Disbursing Authorities to resolve issues.
The PCDA(P) Pension Call Centre also addresses OROP-related queries. Plus, grievances submitted via the Centralised Public Grievances and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) are resolved within a fixed timeframe.
“Raksha Pension Samadhan Aayojan” events are being organised across India to directly address pensioners’ concerns.
The Union Government has increased Dearness Relief by 4% with effect from 1 January 2024, benefiting both serving employees and pensioners, including ex-servicemen under OROP.
