No Training, No Salary: Government School teachers must have to do this work twice a year, else they will not get salary
Bihar: To improve the quality of education in government schools, the Education Department has made compulsory training mandatory for all government school teachers twice in a year. In case of non-participation or failure to attend the training, departmental action will be taken against you, along with salary withholding.
Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department, Bihar, Dr. S. Siddharth has instructed officials to strictly implement this scheme, so that school education and the future of students can be improved further.
Participation in training will be mandatory
According to District Education Officer Manish Kumar Singh, teachers must participate in a one-week residential training program, which will be organized twice every year. The training will be conducted at the District Education and Training Institute (DIET). The main aim for this training is to introduce the teachers to the latest teaching techniques and educational approaches.
The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has been assigned to implement the Training program across districts. A detailed action plan has already been shared with SCERT by the education department. The participation of each government school teacher will be mandatory according to their turn. In case of not participating in the training, departmental action will be taken along with salary withholding.
