Asansol News: Asansol Postal Division is celebrating National Postal Week 2025 from 6 to 10th October Across Asansol Division

Asansol: Department of Posts, Asansol Division has announced the celebration of National Postal Week 2025 from October 6 to October 10, as per the directive issued by the Sr. Superintendent of Post Offices, Asansol Division.

According to the schedule, each day of the National Postal Week will highlight specific theme and activity:
October 6 (Monday): Technology Day – Quiz competitions will be held at post offices to promote awareness of new postal technologies.
October 7 (Tuesday): Financial Inclusion Day – Camps will be organized to promote PLI/RPLI policies, POSB Savings Schemes Promotion and financial inclusion, with special focus on “Sampoorna Sukanya Gram” initiatives.
October 8 (Wednesday): Philately & Citizen Centric Services Day – Philatelic seminars, quiz competitions, and the Dhai Akhar Letter Writing Competition on the theme “Letter to My Role Model” will be organized at schools and post offices.
October 9 (Thursday): World Post Day – A Postathon Walk Relay and a tree-planting ceremony under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” initiative will be held at all Head Post Offices and Sub Divisions.
October 10 (Friday): Customer Day – Customer meetings will take place at Asansol, Durgapur, and Raniganj Head Post Offices to engage directly with postal service users.
An office circular was also issued in this regard, directing all Sub-Divisional Heads and Postmasters in the Asansol Postal Division to conduct Dak Chaupals, Aadhaar enrolment camps in schools, and other citizen-oriented programs during the week.
SSPOS, Asansol Division has asked for active participation from all staff to celebrate the Department’s commitment to “Dak Sewa, Jan Sewa”.
