Issue with Flipkart’s Super.money App Over FD Withdrawal Delays; Suryoday Small Finance Bank Also Drawn Into Dispute

New Delhi: Flipkart-backed Super.money, a financial services platform offering digital fixed deposits (FDs) and other investment products, is facing user complaints over alleged withdrawal issues with deposits made through its app.

A user took to social media alleging that despite investing in a Suryoday Small Finance Bank (SFB) fixed deposit via Super.money on July 5, 2025, he has been unable to withdraw their funds even after several months. According to the terms, the FD was supposed to be withdrawable after seven days, but the user claims that the platform’s ongoing technical issues have prevented redemption.

The complainant stated that multiple attempts to contact customer support via email and the in-app ticket system went unanswered. They further alleged that responses from Super.money’s chat support appeared unprofessional, describing them as “drunk,” and attached screenshots of the alleged exchanges.

The user also tagged Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd, urging the institution to intervene or escalate the matter to the RBI Ombudsman, highlighting frustration over the lack of resolution.

The incident has raised fresh concerns about user fund safety and customer grievance redressal mechanisms on emerging fintech platforms that act as intermediaries for bank deposit products.
