Zerodha Announces Free Brokerage for Diwali Muhurat Trading on October 21, 2025
NEW DELHI: Leading stockbroker platform Zerodha has announced that the Diwali Muhurat trading session will take place on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, between 1:45 PM and 2:45 PM.
In keeping with its 15-year-long tradition, Zerodha confirmed that all brokerage charges for trades executed during the Muhurat session will be reversed, allowing traders and investors to participate in this symbolic trading hour at zero cost.
Muhurat trading session, a special one-hour trading window conducted every Diwali, marks the beginning of the new Samvat year in the Indian stock market.
It is considered an auspicious occasion by traders and investors to make fresh investments for prosperity and good fortune in the year ahead.
Zerodha’s gesture of waiving brokerage fees has become a festive highlight for retail investors, encouraging participation in the tradition while celebrating Diwali’s spirit of new beginnings.
