To manage the festive travel rush and ensure a smooth journey for passengers, the Central Railway has announced the operation of more than 1,700 special trains for Diwali and Chhath Puja.

These special trains are being run to manage the heavy demand for travel during the festive season, especially towards northern destinations such as Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
