To guide this transformation, UIDAI has set up a high-level Expert Committee chaired by Shri Neelkanth Mishra, Chairperson, UIDAI. The committee comprises leading figures from academia, industry, and public administration, including:

The committee will develop the Aadhaar Vision 2032 document, outlining strategies for the next-generation Aadhaar ecosystem that harnesses Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Quantum Computing, Advanced Encryption, and next-gen Data Security technologies.

The upgraded Aadhaar technology stack will enhance resilience against cyber threats, scalability for future demand, and adaptability to new digital trends.

Through this initiative, UIDAI reaffirms its commitment to innovation, trust, and technological excellence, ensuring Aadhaar continues to serve as a secure, inclusive, and people-centric digital identity — a cornerstone of India’s digital governance framework.
